During my final year of university I worked in a team of 10 people to create a game in 4 months. In that time we created our game, Zoomania World Cup. A Fast, Character-Focused Ball game.
As Animation lead, I spent my time rigging, skinning, animating and implementing the characters into engine. Throughout the project I communicated with the rest of the team on the development of the characters.
Due to the fast paced nature of the game, I had to make sure each character would be visually identifiable during gameplay. This meant I had to focus on making sure each character had unique visual identifiers.
Along with the animations I also worked closely with the team on various other aspects of the game, such as:
- Creation and implementation of the HUD
- Implementation of the Character Abilities' visual effects
